Trust & transparency
Last updated: 14 April 2026. How MauzoSync collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our marketing website and subscription software.
MauzoSync is a software product owned and operated by Pebble Softwares.
Throughout this Privacy Policy, "MauzoSync", "we", "our", and "us" refer to Pebble Softwares in its capacity as operator of the MauzoSync platform, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.
Pebble Softwares operates MauzoSync, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for safari operators, tour companies, and destination management companies (DMCs). MauzoSync is our product name; Pebble Softwares is the legal entity that provides it.
We provide tools to help you manage inquiries, itineraries, bookings, payments (as configured by you), suppliers, and day-to-day operations. We do not sell tours, act as a travel agent, or provide travel services to end travellers. Your clients contract with you; you decide what data you enter and how you use the Service to run your business.
For personal data about your clients and travellers that you upload to the platform, your organisation is typically the data controller (you decide why and how that data is processed). Pebble Softwares acts as a data processor when we host and process that data on your behalf to deliver MauzoSync, in line with this policy and (where applicable) our agreement with you. For account sign-up, subscription billing to Pebble Softwares, support, and our own marketing site, Pebble Softwares may act as controller for those specific processing activities.
You (the operator / customer) own your business data—including client and traveller information, bookings, itineraries, supplier records, and other content you or your team submit to the Service.
Pebble Softwares does not claim ownership of your operator data. We need a limited right to use that data to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the Service (and as described in this policy). We do not sell your confidential tour or client records for advertising.
We collect and process information in these categories:
We do not ask you to provide special-category data (such as health data). If you enter such information in free-text fields, you are responsible for having a valid legal basis and for meeting your obligations to your own data subjects.
Payments for MauzoSync subscriptions are made to Pebble Softwares (often shown as MauzoSync at checkout or on your card statement). They may be processed by third-party payment providers (for example Stripe or Razorpay, depending on configuration and region). Where you use integrated flows for your own clients’ payments, those may also be processed by payment providers subject to your settings.
Card details are collected and stored by those providers according to their terms and PCI standards. Pebble Softwares does not store full card numbers or CVV on MauzoSync systems. We may receive non-sensitive metadata (such as last four digits, brand, expiry where provided, payment status, and IDs) to display receipts and support reconciliation.
We process data needed to run subscriptions with Pebble Softwares, including plan name, billing contact, billing address where collected, tax identifiers if provided, invoices issued by Pebble Softwares, payment history, and subscription start, renewal, and cancellation dates.
We use the information above to:
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your confidential tour or client records for third-party advertising.
Where GDPR or equivalent laws apply, we rely on one or more of: contract (delivering the Service you signed up for); legitimate interests (securing the platform, improving the product, limited B2B marketing), balanced against your rights; consent where we have asked for it (for example non-essential cookies or certain emails); and legal obligation where required.
We share data only as needed to run the Service:
We use agreements with service providers that process personal data on our behalf and require appropriate protection of that data.
We retain data while your subscription is active and as needed to provide the Service.
After you close or delete an account, we delete or anonymise customer content according to our processes and your plan, except where we must retain certain records for legal, tax, accounting, or dispute resolution purposes. Backup systems may retain copies for a limited period during rotation. Details may also appear in your order form or enterprise agreement.
The Service may be hosted or supported from countries other than yours. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms) where required by law.
We implement administrative, technical, and organisational measures designed to protect data, including encryption in transit (and encryption at rest where applicable to our architecture), role-based access controls, separation between customer environments where designed, logging and monitoring, and staff awareness. See our Security page for a high-level overview.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. Enterprise customers may request additional security documentation through the contact below.
We use cookies and similar technologies on our marketing site and in the product for session management, preferences, security, and (where optional) analytics. You can control many cookies through your browser. Essential cookies are needed for login and core functionality.
Marketing analytics: On our public marketing and sign-up pages, tools such as Google Tag Manager / Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are loaded only after you opt in via the cookie banner. You can update your choice anytime on our Cookie settings page, from the footer link, or on the login/register screens where shown.
Operators: depending on product features, you may export or delete certain data through the Service or by request. You are responsible for requests from your travellers and clients; we assist as processor where applicable.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority where applicable.
To exercise rights relating to MauzoSync’s own processing (for example your account with us), contact us below. We respond within timeframes required by law.
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have collected such data, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice where appropriate (for example email to administrators or an in-product notice).
Our Terms of Service and Refund Policy describe subscription and billing-related terms.
